WELDING EQUIPMENT + PLASMA CUTTER BERLIN 2400 SET
The Berlin 2400 from Vector Welding is a combined device for welding and plasma cutting. With 200A in TIG mode, 170A in MMA mode and plasma cutting with 50 A at 96V the device is well suitedfor installation, repair, maintenance and do-it-yourself.
This set is a full equipment consisting of DC TIG welding device & plasma cutter Berlin 2400, welding helmet in carbon-look, a foot pedal for remote control of the welding current, 2kg welding rod, tungsten electrodes, as well as an extensive accessories and wearing parts set (see scope of delivery).

2400 PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES:

DC TIG welding: welding of almost all metals
HF-ignition (TIG)
pulse function: during pulse welding the welding current alternates between output and peak current at the desired frequency. The longer the intervals, the less energy and heat is supplied to the workpiece
MMA/STICK/E-HAND: coated electrodes are used - in this process the electrodes are arc carrier and filler metal in one.
Hot start: Each time the welding unit is restarted, overcurrent is provided to support the ignition of the arc.
Arc Force: Melted material transfers to the workpiece more easily. Prevents the arc from going out if contact between the electrode and the molten pool is caused by this material.
Anti-stick automatically switches off the welding generator if the electrode sticks to the workpiece and must be removed by hand without damaging the electrode clamp.
Plasma cutter: CUT FCUT function with the help of a plasma beam generated by electricity. This melts the material and removes it with compressed air - a precise cut is produced. With this procedure all conductive metals can be cut (e.g. steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, etc.)
